In divorce if there is property or financial matters mediation is compulsory and I can refer  you to mediation. I would strongly urge  you to accept mediation which can be a cheaper way of settling financial matters between you before taking expensive Court action. Financial Applications can cost anything up to £7,500 if not more.

In Children Act matters the Court like to see that you and your husband or former partner have discussed problems/attempted to discuss problems in mediation prior to taking Court action and therefore mediation is compulsory. I can forward to you by email: "What the Courts Expect".
